We don't think the Dell XPS line can go wrong at this
moment. Its annual improvements have routinely landed it on our list of best
laptops, and they're just getting better.
It's a costly investment, much like its predecessor, but
that's hardly reason enough to put Ultra book aficionados off. The confusing
choice of downward-firing speakers that might muffle the sound, as with other Ultra
books, is our one criticism. We'd expect more for this price. Even still, you'd
be hard pushed to find anything finer.
